If you’re looking for a fishing charter in Tampa, you’ve come to the right place. I’m Captain Dean and I have a lifetime of experience fishing the water near and around Tampa, Florida. It doesn’t matter what kind of trip you want, I can guide you through the best waters in the area and help you catch a variety of fish including trout, snook, and redfish.
If you’d like to partake in some of the nearby beaches, you can expect to encounter the above fish along with grouper, mackerel, flounder, Cobia, and tarpon. It’s truly up to you and what your expectations are for this fishing charter Tampa. I have tons of experience and know these waters like the back of my hand. You won’t be led astray and you certainly will have fun.
In case you were wondering, I have 17 years of experience with running a fishing charter in Tampa and have fished these waters all my life. I live and breathe fishing and I’m excited to share that passion with you. Plus, I know some fun things to do on land as well, so if you want to stop by an island or two for lunch or dinner at a waterfront restaurant, I know just the places to satisfy your appetite and your need for adventure.
Beyond having fun, my biggest priority is keeping you safe. Even if you sailed the seas a million times before, I keep a watchful eye to make sure everyone on my fishing charter in Tampa is safe. I’m a Coast Guard certified captain and I have an EPIRB, which stands for emergency position indicating radio beacon. Other captains don’t have this so you can rest assured that you are absolutely safe with me. After all, it could be the difference between life and death when on the water.
I also have the best fishing equipment around onboard including those from Shimano, Star, and Redbone. I also make sure to have the best hooks like Gamakatsu and Owner. Basically, I want you to have the best experience around for the price. Seriously, all you need to do is bring the things that you think would make your day more enjoyable like sunscreen, food, drinks, and the appropriate attire for the weather. You don’t want to be caught without a jacket if it’s raining, for instance. Everything else is provided for you, including ice for your food and drinks!
When we return to the dock, we’ll clean, filet, skin, debone, and bag the fish you caught that can be legally kept. Bring along a cooler if you plan on taking your fish home. It’s just easier that way. Or, you can take the fish you caught to a local restaurant to have it cooked and prepared for you! Nothing says fishing in Tampa like that! A few restaurants that come to mind that do this include the Magnolia Grille and Molly Goodheads, if you’re interested.
If you want to experience a fishing charter in Tampa, you can’t go wrong with Captain Dean!
